-- Brunch: A Sketch Comedy Show --

Allie Entwistle and Kerri Donaldson are Brunch: a sketch comedy duo. Stemming from the fever dream of Women & Songs, Brunch is like an apocalyptic 90's Julia Roberts movie without the Richard Gere (better). Brunch has performed at Portland Sketch Fest, Montreal SketchFest, and Just For Laughs NorthWest-Best of the West. They’ve performed in improv festivals from Seattle to New York, and now they're ready to perform their way into the deepest crevices of your hearts.

IMPROVISERS VS STAND UP COMEDIANS

There's been a long standing rivalry between Stand Ups and Improvisers, since the beginning of comedy, and it has reached its boiling point. Now, these comedy "types", are being forced to come together to battle for the attention, respect, and love of the audience (YOU!).

In the first half, we've got a lineup of some of Vancouver's best stand ups who have been making the rounds in the dark and dank rooms in Vancouver applying their craft to whoever is will tolerate them. The stand ups, who have honed their jokes until they are perfect, come to the Bloodfeud stage to show you what meticulous hard work and dedication can do.

In the second half, a group of happy-go-lucky and "uppity" improvisers, representing the major Improv hubs of Vancouver, and having done nothing to prepare for the night, hit the stage. Using the hard work of the stand ups as their inspiration, the improvisers will perform a long form set that will show you what training and positive attitudes can do as they make it all up as they go.

Senseless with Kyle Bottom

What happens when you take the city's most accomplished stand-up comedians and force them to do their sets while blindfolded and wearing noise-cancelling headphones? LET'S FIND OUT.

This is a whos-who lineup of the city's best including Kyle Bottom, Sophie Buddle and Graham Clark. We've also got a whos-who lineup of the city's most affordable canned beer and cider (oooh la la).

A concept so strange, the only time slot that could handle it was 10:30 pm on a Friday night. This is the kind of stand up comedy that you'll never find at Yuks or the Mix. It's an LMG exclusive!
